Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of SparkyBuddy, provided by Kimsha Family Trust trading as SparkyBuddy. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate business details, including your ABN and licence details where asked.
• Each login belongs to one business.

Your data

You own the records you put into SparkyBuddy. You can export them at any time. We handle them as described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

• Don't use SparkyBuddy for anything unlawful, or to send spam.
• Don't try to access other businesses' data or disrupt the service.
• Only upload content you have the right to use, including supplier price files.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in Australian dollars including GST. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

Supplier specials and fees

Wholesalers and manufacturers can pay us to show their specials in SparkyBuddy, and may pay us a fee when you open a trade account through a link in the app. Paid content is always labelled “Sponsored”. It never changes your prices, your pre-builds or which supplier the app shows as cheapest. You can hide specials in Settings.

Technical guidance

Guidance, calculators and suggestions in SparkyBuddy are general in nature. See our disclaimer. Responsibility for your work and your documents stays with you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SparkyBuddy available and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features over time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
